THE BRIEF
Jersey Sport, the local charity responsible for making sport and physical activity more accessible for everyone across the island, undertook an overhaul of its Move More Referral programme in April 2024. This updated initiative, now housed in the cutting-edge Strive facility, will enable an 89% increase in capacity compared to its predecessor. With this significant growth, our objective was to effectively promote the programme to those who could benefit the most.
Our mission was to increase awareness of the programme amongst local GPs and healthcare professionals. Additionally, we sought to engage the least active islanders, encouraging them to embrace physical activity and improve their overall well-being.
THE PROCESS
In close collaboration with the Jersey Sport team, we launched an extensive campaign designed to motivate and inspire potential participants. Centred around the theme “There are no excuses,” the campaign directly tackled common barriers to exercise, transforming “I just can’t” into “U can.”
To effectively engage both healthcare professionals and potential programme users, we employed a dual approach. Our creative strategy blended typographical and photographic elements, ensuring a compelling and persuasive message that would capture attention and inspire action.
Our journey began with in-depth consultations to understand the core goals and values of the Move More Referral programme. From these discussions, we crafted an innovative and impactful strategy. Our creative team then developed visually appealing and motivational graphics, perfectly aligned with the modern aesthetics of the Strive facility.
THE RESULTS
The campaign delivered a wide array of print and digital assets, strategically deployed across multiple venues, including Strive and local GP surgeries. Key deliverables included:

Referral business cards for doctors

The response from the Jersey Sport team has been exceptionally positive. The enhanced Move More Referral programme is now ideally positioned to support the health and wellness of the island’s residents, fully capturing the spirit of motivation and inclusivity embodied in our campaign.
